Highland Basketball Tournament

The annual Highland Basketball Tournament will begin on Jan 1, 2024

Both Highland and Canton Varsity Boys and Girls team will compete in the tourney. The Canton Lady Tigers basketball team is seeded 3 in the tournament and the Highland Lady Cougars are seeded fifth. Highland Lady Cougars will face the number fourth seeded Kirksville on Jan 1 at 1 p.m. The Canton Lady Tigers will also play on Jan. 1 at 2:30 p.m. against the number sixth seeded Macon. The girl’s teams will play again on Wednesday evening, Jan. 3. Consolation game will be Friday, Jan. 5 at 4:30 p.m. Third place game will also be Jan. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The Girls Championship game will be played Saturday, Jan. 8 at 4 p.m.

The Highland Cougars are seeded sixth and will face the number three seed, Keokuk, on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 6:30 p.m. The Canton Tigers are seeded fourth and will face the fifth seeded Clark County on Monday, Jan 1 at 6 p.m. The boy’s teams will play again on Thursday, Jan 4. The boy’s consolation game will be Friday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. The third-place game will be Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. and the Boys Championship game will be played Saturday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.
