TERESA AGNES FERGUSON  

Mrs. Teresa A. Ferguson, 75, of rural LaGrange, Mo., died March 30, 2024 at 5:37 a.m. at her home near LaGrange.

 She was born June 19, 1948, in Buffalo, New York, a daughter of Redmond V. and Florence C. Laskowski Raleigh. She married Garry Lee Ferguson on October 26, 1968 at St. Patrick, Mo. He passed away December 23, 2021.

 Teresa graduated from Lewistown High School and Gem City Business College. She was a member of the Shrine of St. Patrick and the Daughters of Isabella in St. Patrick, Mo. Breeding and training horses, as well as farming, were her life. She was a member of the National Barrel Horse Association and American Quarter Horse Association. 

Survivors include her son, John Allen Ferguson and daughter, Kim Marie Ferguson, both of LaGrange, Mo.; brother, Mike Raleigh also of LaGrange; sisters, Mary Jo (Harold) Kirchner of Anchor Point, Alaska and Margaret (Gerry) Dinwiddie of New London, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Garry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine of St. Patrick, St. Patrick, Mo., Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Presider, Fr. Rob Fields. Pallbearers: Shaun Anderson, Mike Wear, Bill Wagner, Izera Yoder, Jim Balzer, Dale Waterman and Greg Feldbrig

Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at Davis Funeral Home in Canton, Mo., from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.  There will be a Rosary Service at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home by the Daughters of Isabella.   

Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.  

The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Patrick Cemetery Association in care of Davis Funeral Home, P.O Box 108, Canton, Mo.
