ROBERTA STICE

Roberta Mae Stice, 77 of Lewistown, Missouri died April 20, 2024 at her home in rural Lewistown.

The daughter of Harry and Doris Thrasher Brumbaugh was born on May 22, 1946 in rural Lewis County, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Howard Russell Stice on June 27, 1965 in the Lewistown Christian Church in Lewistown, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2024.

Roberta was named after her paternal grandmother, Berta Mae. She was a St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and loved to sew, cook, bake, can foods, tend to her garden and watch the birds. She made blankets for all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Randall (Teya) Stice of Palmyra, Mo., a daughter, Rebecca (Scott) Jones of Sturgeon, Mo., daughter in law, Laura Stice of Lewistown, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Brettan Stice, Bennett (Drew) Stice, Makaylee (Connor) Fett, Dalton Kaylor, Dawson Kaylor, Camryn Stice, David Stice, Paden Jones; four great grandchildren, Makenzlee and Ryatt Fett, Oaklynn and Iverson Kaylor; a sister, Erma Geisendorfer of LaBelle, Mo.; a sister in law, Wendeline Brumbaugh of Bethel, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard Stice, granddaughter, Amanda Brown and an infant great granddaughter, six brothers, Glen, Ersel, David, Kenneth, Melvin and James Brumbaugh.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Paul Harvey officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 5 PM until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown.
