WILLIAM TULEY

William Preston Tuley, 83 of Overland Park, Kansas died July 13, 2017 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park. The son of John Elmer Tuley and Mary Isabel (Gibson) Danker was born on July 17, 1933 at Quincy, Illinois. He was united in marriage to Hildegard Wilhelm on November 19, 1955 in Munich, Germany. William served in the U.S. Army Military Police in Munich, Germany during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton, Mo. and was a lifetime member of the St. Patrick Knights of Columbus Council 2526. He is survived by his wife Hildegard Tuley of Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, Barbara Tuley of Canadian, Oklahoma; a son, Michael Tuley of Columbia, Mo.; brother, Robert Tuley of Canton, Mo.; sister, Rita Giesmann of O’Fallon, Mo.; and seven nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Elmer Tuley. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Canton, Missouri with Father Christopher Aubuchon officiating. Visitation was held July 16 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Canton.Pallbearers: Mark Tuley, Ron Tuley, Mark Apple, Virgil Rose, Don Stiegman and Aaron Apple.
