Four Additional Covid-19 Cases in Lewis County

The Lewis County Health Department has confirmed four new positive cases of COVID-19 in Lewis County.

The first individual’s age is between 60-70. The second individual’s age is between 40-50. The third individual’s age is between 20-30. The fourth individual’s age is between 10-20. Three of the four individuals are household contacts.

All cases are non-travel related and all individuals are being asked to self-isolate to decrease the risk of exposing others. The Lewis County Health Department is maintaining contact with the individuals to make sure their needs are met and they are following self-isolation. All individuals are recovering at home.

Healthcare and public health are working together to contain the spread of this virus, in a manner to protect the health of the community and the safety of our healthcare providers. They are communicating with local agencies as well as the Department of Health and Senior Services to maintain current situational awareness on COVID-19.
