Rollin’ on the River Awards Scholarships

The Rollin’ on the River Blues Festival Committee announced the recipients of two $500. Dane Custer Memorial Scholarships for the 2021 School year. Graduates are Jordan Granera of Keokuk, IA and Aiden Spurgeon of Canton R-V.

Aiden will attend Truman State University studying Music Education in their 5 year Masters Program. Rollin’ on the River has awarded 37 Scholarships since the inception of the program in 2012. Scholarships are given to those High School graduates in the Tri-State Area who plan to Major or Minor in a Music Program at a College or University, plus demonstrate financial need. This is the second Scholarship awarded to a Graduating Senior from Canton R-V.
