BETTIE I. DAUGHERTY WALKER

Mrs. Bettie I. Daugherty Walker, 87, of La Grange, Mo., died May 2, 2015 in the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton, Mo.

She was born December 1, 1927 in Hull, Ill., a daughter of Archie and Theeodocia Ernest Morris Smith. She married Norman Henry Daugherty on August 4, 1945 in Pittsfield, IL and he died July 18, 1974. She later married Keith Lyndell Walker on July 10, 1981 and he died March 14, 2010.

Bettie was a member of the La Grange Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crossword puzzles and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include one son, Harley R. (Katherine L.) Daugherty of La Grange; one daughter, Dixie E. (Ivan Eugene) Kennedy of La Grange; son in law, Daniel D. Musholt of Quincy, IL; grandsons, Harley W. (Jessica) Daugherty of La Grange, Jesse C. Kennedy of La Grange, Grant T. Kennedy of La Grange and Sterling T. (Heather L.) Musholt of Quincy, IL; granddaughters, Rhonda Daugherty of La Grange and Tiffany D. Musholt of Beavercreek, OH; great grandchildren, Jesse Lee Kennedy, John M. Kennedy, Zander Kennedy, Colton Daugherty, Logan Daugherty, Carter Musholt and Regan Musholt; sisters, Martha Foltz of Fowler, IL and Mamie Meyers of Palmyra, MO. also several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and daughter Regina Joleen Musholt.

Funeral services were held May 6, 2015 in the Davis Funeral Home in La Grange with Pastor Kary Myers officiating. Music was recorded selections. Pallbearers: Harley W. Daugherty, Rhonda Daugherty, Jesse Kennedy, Grant Kennedy, Tiffany Musholt and Sterling Musholt. Honorary Pallbearers: Jesse Lee Kennedy, John M. Kennedy, Zander Kennedy, Colton Daugherty, Logan Daugherty, Carter Musholt and Regan Musholt.

Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in La Grange.

The family suggests memorials be made to the La Grange Christian Church.
