Canton Library Gardening Program

April 20, 2022

Need some fresh ideas for a thriving garden?

The Canton Public Library will host a program on gardening on Tuesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. with a presentation by Master Gardener Sharon Upchurch. Whether you seek inspiration or information, Sharon will share her knowledge and passion about the art and science of growing a beautiful or delicious garden (or both).

Participants are welcome to bring seeds saved from special plants, seedlings from varieties you love, or cuttings from plants you wish to share. Some of the seeds that may be available that evening include zinnias, marigolds, and rudbeckia. Canna bulbs, eggplant and Candyland patio tomato plants may also be available. Please bring some of your favorites or surplus plants and seeds to share. It’s a great opportunity to try some new varieties.

The library is located at 403 Lewis Street in Canton. It is open Tuesday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2 PM. Visit the library’s website at www.cantonmopubliclibrary.org, find them on Facebook at Your Canton Public Library, or call 573-288-5279.
