Library Offers Macrame Class

Canton Public Library welcomes Randi Sparrow on Tuesday, August 30 at 6:00 PM for a hands-on macrame class. At the end of class, each participant will take home a macrame plant hanger. All materials are provided, including plant cuttings.
Randi has been crafting macrame home decor for several years. She began after admiring items she saw in stores, and was inspired to make them herself, for far less cost. She finds macrame to be meditative and a fun stress-reliever. “While it looks complicated,” she says, “if you can tie your shoes, you can do macrame.”

Class size is limited to 8, so please call the library to register, at 573-288-5279.
