Larry William Brandt, 82, died November 9, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born in La Grange, Missouri, on November 20, 1939, to Harold Lee Roy and Ethel (East) Brandt.
Larry married Ann Whitson on September 3, 1961. They recently celebrated their 61st year of marriage.
He proudly served in the United States Navy for four years. After his years of service, he worked at Paul Mueller Company for 40 years.
Larry was known for his ability to fix anything and if he did not have the tools to fix something, he would develop and make the tool. He enjoyed projects from building his own computer to renovating his favorite RV. He was never intimated by a project.
He loved RVing. With his wife, Ann, they traveled to all 48 contiguous states. His favorite state to visit was New Mexico, where they wintered each year.
Larry is survived by his wife, Ann; brother, Lee; three sons: Edward (Carla), Andrew (Hollie), and Ben (Casey); grandkids: Trevor, Barry, LaRina, Spencer, Samantha, Jeremiah, Remy, and Stephanie; great grandkids: Kai, Madyson, Rily, Gage, Acelenn, Grayson, Ellianna, William, and Wyatte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held November 14, 2022, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield, Missouri, with Curtis Estes officiating. Full military honors were rendered.
