Cost Share Program

The Lewis County Soil and Water Conservation District will be having a sign–up February 1 - February 28, 2023 for state cost share funds, for the fiscal year of 2024 (July 1, 2023– June 30, 2024). You may sign-up any time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning February 1 st . Every one that signs up will be entered into a drawing. Names will be drawn randomly and placed on a work order list at the March Board meeting. Landowners will then be notified of their placement. 

All landowners interested in receiving state cost share funding for a conservation practice (terraces, ponds, waterways, grazing system, cover crops, etc.) will need to sign-up. Landowners may sign up at the office, by phone @ 573-767-5276 ext. 3, or email brenda.bronestine@swcd.mo.gov.
