MARY D. WHITE

Mrs. Mary D. White, 89, of the Country Aire Retirement Estate in Lewistown, Mo., formerly of Riverside, Calif., died December 12, 2017 in the home.

She was born June 12, 1928 near Ursa, Ill., a daughter of Alva and Marie Rouse Miller. She married Carroll R. White on May 11, 1954 in Quincy, IL. He passed away, November 10, 2012.

Mary retired after 21 years with Sunset Home in Quincy to become a homemaker. She was of the Protestant Faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Janet M. (friend, Gene Stice) Jones of Lewistown, Mo., and Sherry (Jerry) Dill of Durham, Mo; three sons, Michael D. (Christine) Logan of Quincy, Ill, John W. (Joyce) Logan of Ewing, Mo., and Carroll G. (friend, Marcella Carrillo) White of San Bernadino, CA; 11 grandchildren, Patrick (Shana Murphy) Jones of Durham, Clinton (Crystal) Dill of Tonganoxie, KS, Michelle (Richie) Wienhoff of Hannibal, MO, Kyle Logan of Quincy, Beverly (Bill Davis) Ferrara of Knox City, MO, Jamie (Trisha) Logan of Kirksville, MO, Samantha (Jeremy Pabst) Logan of Hannibal, John (Stephanie) White, T.J. (Katie) White, Dawn Theissen and Angel Wolfe all of Riverside, CA; 26 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; three brothers, Alva Miller Jr. of Springfield, IL, Eugene (June) Miller of Columbus, GA and Ted (Amy) Miller of Quincy; six sisters, Joann Spindler, Barbara (William) Arment, Sarah Griffith, Ruth (Harlan) Blackburn, Jackie Bebee all of Quincy and Sharon (Larry) McKinney of Newark, MO and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her, parents, husband, grandson Mathew L. Dill; four sisters, Rose Miller, Doris Miller, Melva Mehan and Ferol Waller, brother, Larry Miller, five brothers-in-law, John Spindler, Richard Mehan, William Griffith, Roger Waller and Larry Bebee and a son in law Ralph D. Jones.

Graveside memorial services were held December 18, 2017 at Durham Cemetery, Durham, MO with Rev. Harold Long officiating. Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny White, Clinton Dill, Kiel Logan, Patrick Jones, Michelle Wienhoff and Beverly Ferrara

Visitation was held December 16, 2017 at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing.

The family suggests memorials be made to Country Aire Retirement Estates or to the Durham Cemetery Association.
