Proposition KIDS

Lewis County C-1 School District will have Proposition KIDS (Keep Improving District Schools) on the ballot in April asking the local patrons to support an 80 cent tax increase in the district's tax rate. This increase is being requested to support the current operations and rising expenses of the district. In the printed edition of the Feb. 20, Press-News Journal, the incorrect tax increase information was listed. More information on the proposal will be printed and available online in future editions leading up to the election.
