JOYCE ELIZABETH SHAY

Mrs. Joyce Shay, 78, of Canton, Mo., died April 14, 2020 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born January 9, 1942 in Bellingham, Washington a daughter of Gilbert Max and Margaret Lucille Harrison Johnson. She married James A. Shay at Christmas time in 1987. He survives.

Joyce was a former member of the American Saddle Club. She had owned and raised horses and had been in retail business for a number of years.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Jim Shay of Eureka, MT; two sons, D.L. McCullough and Ron (Tami) McCullough, both of Canton, MO; two step-daughters, Niki (Dave) LeSoine of Florence, MT and their two boys, Cahill LeSoine of Helena, MT and Rees LeSoine of Missoula, MT and Dede Shay of Trego, MT and her son, Kevyn Fitzpatrick of Kalispell, MT; a granddaughter, Kendra Berhorst and two great grandchildren; nephews Lynn and Neil Thompson and Ken and David Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mary Thompson.
