KATHERINE SHERWOOD

Katherine R. Sherwood, 74, of La Belle, Mo., formerly of Canton, Mo., died April 27, 2020 at the La Belle Manor.

Katherine was born March 27, 1946 in Canton, MO a daughter of Glenn C. and Beulah Mae Jacobs Sherwood.

Katherine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton, enjoyed embroidery, needlepoint and working for Wider Opportunities in LaBelle. She also enjoyed having dogs as pets. Throughout her life, starting at a very young age, she liked to visit with her teachers, family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her sister, Mildred Olson of Kahoka, MO; her brother Garry Sherwood of Canton, MO and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Theresa Harris, Pat Parrick, Edith Riherd and Edna Dickens and brother’s Larry, Charles, Bobby and Kenny Sherwood.

Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic a private family graveside service will be held in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton, Mo.
