Hwy 61 closed North of Canton

The Lewis County Sheriff's Department is reporting of a multi-vehicle accident in the north bound lane on Highway 61, approximately one mile north of Highway 16 at Canton, Mo. Multiple emergency agencies are on the scene where approximately 20 to 30 vehicles have been involved in collisions. The public is asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes until further notice.
