ROY LOVELACE

Roy Alfred Lovelace, 84, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died February 10, 2021.

Roy was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He was a Marine Veteran serving during the Korean War.  Roy loved staying active. He loved to play racquetball, softball, work around the house and travel. One of the things he looked forward to the most was getting together with his breakfast buddies. He had lived in the Durham, Mo. Area

Survivors include his son, John (Sandra) Lovelace, Shorty Lovelace, granddaughter, Jessica Lovelace, great-grandson, Taylor King, good friend, Don Hargis and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Bernice Lovelace, sister, Barbara Marlow, niece, Carol Carlisle and grand-niece, Elaine Carlisle.

Services were held at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Harrison, Tennessee on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 with Pastor Ronnie Dotson officiating.

Interment was held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
