Culver-Stockton Presents Noises Off

Culver-Stockton College’s Department of Theater is pleased to welcome the public back to campus as they open their mainstage season with the outrageously funny Noises Off by Michael Frayn. The production will include four performances, beginning Sept. 23, held in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium.
Declared “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a group of eccentric actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing On. Slamming doors, on and off-stage relationship dramas, and an “errant herring” all add to the plot of this classic comedy. Noises Off garnered an Olivier Award for Best Play as well as multiple Tony nominations. Performances of Noises Off will be Thursday, September 23 and Saturday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee on September 26 in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium located in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. Admission is free for C-SC students, faculty, and staff. Adult tickets are ten dollars and seniors/non-Culver-Stockton students are five dollars. Noises Off is directed by Dr. Haidee Heaton, Professor of Theater, with production design by Andy Trusley, Assistant Professor of Theater.
