Culver-Stockton College Homecoming Schedule
Everyone is welcome to attend the parade and other events. Remember to support the Canton community businesses and enjoy the weekend in Canton. The annual downtown block party will be Friday evening, September 24.
The following events will take place Saturday, September 25. The day begins with a Leadership Breakfast (by invitation) and Hosted by President and Mrs. Douglas B. Palmer at 8 a.m.
The Homecoming Parade (featuring The Pride of Culver-Stockton Marching Band) will begin at 9:30 a.m. At 10 a.m. is the Alumni Baseball Game at Nichols Field and the Alumni Softball Game at Himsl Softball Field
Blue and White Tailgate will be at the Tent south of the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Recreation Health & Wellness Center in the grassy area at 11 a.m. Mix and mingle with fellow Wildcat alumni and enjoy a BBQ lunch. Bottled water will be provided.
Top of the Hill Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. at the tent on the grassy area south of Henderson Hall (The Quad) . Join Culver in inducting the Class of 1970 and 1971 into the Top of the Hill Society and celebrate the reunion years of 1960 & 1961.
Stop by and Wish Professor Cosgrove Well at the Table at the Blue & White Tailgate from 11 to noon.
The High School Band Awards Ceremony will take place at the Alexander Campbell Auditorium, Performing Arts Center from 11 a.m. to noon. No parking in the circle drive in front of the auditorium, school buses will be loading and unloading students.
Homecoming Lunch Options on “the Hill”. Dining Hall, Gladys Crown Center opens at 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. The CP - Cat’s Pause (lower level of Gladys Crown Student Center opens at 10 a.m.). Athletic Concessions in Ellison Poulton Stadium
The Football Game begins at 1 p.m. at Ellison Poulton Stadium. The Culver-Stockton College Wildcats vs. Central Methodist University
Homecoming Court Coronation will be at half-time of the football game.
Art Gallery Exhibit at the Mabee Art Gallery, Herrick Foundation Center from noon to 7 p.m. View the works of alumnus Kyle Darnell ‘10. There will be a reception and the artist will speak about his work at 6 p.m. outside of the Herrick Foundation Center.
The Punt, Pass and Kick Competition will be from 3 to 5 p.m. at Soccer practice field behind the fraternity houses. All ages welcome.
The Fine Arts Picnic begins at 5 p.m. at the East Shelter House, Martin Park
ATO 50th Anniversary Celebration begins at 6 p.m. at the tent north of the J. E. and L.E. Mabee Recreation and Wellness Center
Theater Reunion Play begins at 7:30 p.m. - Noises Off by Michael Frayn
Alexander Campbell Auditorium, Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. Outdoor alumni reception following the play.
