Lewis County Adopt-A-Child Christmas Program
The Lewis County Adopt-A-Child Christmas program is in full swing again this year. NECAC in Canton, MO is partnering with local businesses, clubs, organizations, and individuals to assist Lewis County families in need with Christmas gifts for children. Anyone that needs a little extra help providing gifts for children this Christmas can get an application from the NECAC office or the Canton Public Library, both in Canton. There is an income eligibility, which is listed on the application. All applications need to be turned in at the NECAC office by November 28, but don’t wait; many of the donors like to do their shopping during Black Friday.
There are also opportunities for those that wish to participate in other ways. Anyone that wants to adopt one or more of the children, can send their requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include a contact phone number, the number of kiddos that you would like to buy gifts for, and any special requests. Those that would like to help with organization and distribution during the week of December 13 through December 17 can email email@example.com.
The distribution date will be Friday, December 17 from 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Many hands make light work, and together we can make a huge impact to these children’s lives.
