Library Hosts Romania Presentation

The Canton Public Library will welcome Alexia Esanu from Transylvania, Romania to the library on Tuesday, November 16 at 6:00 PM for a presentation about Romania. Alexia is a student at Canton High School and she will be studying here until the end of the school year. Romania, located in eastern Europe, is known as home to Olympic Gold Medalist Nadia Comaneci, Vlad the Impaler, and beautiful landscapes. It was under Communist rule until 1989 and was affected by the Chernobyl nuclear plant disaster. Alexia will share about all of this and more. Everyone is welcome.
The library is located at 403 Lewis Street in Canton. It is open Tuesday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 2 PM.
