SANDRA SLONIKER

Sandra Ruth Sloniker, 83 of LaBelle, Missouri died December 24, 2021 at the Country Aire Retirement Estate at Lewistown, Missouri.

The daughter of Elmer and Ruth Carwell Kespohl was born on June 17, 1938 at Quincy, Illinois.

She was united in marriage to Lonnie Sloniker on June 29, 1957 at Palmyra, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2006.

Sandra was a member of the First Christian Church of LaBelle, Mo. She was the Postmaster of the LaBelle Post Office for many years. She loved to read books and was an avid football fan.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Randy) Sharpe of Lewistown, Mo. and Cheryl (David) Grgurich of Marietta, Oklahoma; a son, Brian Sloniker of Palmyra, Mo.; grandchildren, Wesley (Heather) Sharpe, Brad (Heather) Sharpe, Ashley (Matthew) Steyer, Marcus (Hassie) Grgurich and Lucas (D’Arcy) Grgurich, great-grandchildren, Madison (Blake) Hetzler, Brenlynn Sharpe, Rylan Sharpe, Taylor (Cody) Johnson, Chevie Sharpe, Seth Sharpe, Eleanor Steyer, Gentry Grgurich, Gaines Grgurich, Liam Grgurich, Owen Grgurich, Karli Johnson and Madison Mefford; great-great grandson, Liam Beaver; sister, Sharon Morgan of Kirkwood, Mo.; brother, Fred Kespohl of Palmyra, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Paul Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, Jan. 1, 2022 from 10 AM until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown.

Pallbearers: Wesley Sharpe, Brad Sharpe, Chevie Sharpe, Seth Sharpe, Marcus Grgurich and Lucas Grgurich.
Burial will be in the Steffenville Cemetery at Steffenville, Missouri.
