Highland High Tournament

The 50th Highland Tournament was held January 3 – January 8. The Cougar men’s team finished fourth. They beat Scotland County 69 to 47. Drew Mallett had 28 points. Alex Meyer had 16 and Robert Goehl added 13. Highland lost their second game, 53-45 to Macon. Drew Mallett scored 17 points and Cameron Bringer added 14. Highland lost the third place game to Palmyra 54-49. Drew Mallett led the team with 15 points. Cameron Bringer added 13 and Alex Meyer added 10. Highland is scheduled to play Canton Tuesday, January 11 at home and Macon Friday, January 14 at home.
