SUZANNE KENNEY

Suzanne Kay Kenney, 75, of Wentzville, Mo., died February 8, 2022 at Jonesburg Nursing Home and Rehab, Jonesburg, Mo.

She was born October 29, 1946 in St. Louis, to to Hal J. and Violet B. (Tucker) Kenney. She attended Jennings High School and continued her education at University of Missouri, and received her B.S. in Education and Business Administration from Lindenwood University.

Suzanne was employed at Emerson Electric as a Spanish interpreter, Wagner Electric, and legal secretary for her employer and friend William Zollmann.

She was a Christian woman who believed and daily practiced the power of prayer. She was the loving caregiver for her mother. Her interests included raising Yorkshire Terriers and she loved her cat LuLu, along with skeet shooting, golf, fishing, being outdoors, and she was an excellent seamstress.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas (Beth) Kenney of Canton, Mo.; two nephews, Patrick (Dawn) Kenney, Sean (Alaina) Kenney; three nieces, Keri (Anthony) Cottrell, Sarah (Robert) Hill, Kathy (Jerry) Sterling; many great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hal James Kenney, Jr., mother, Violet Bernice (Tucker) Kenney, brother, Hal James Kenney, III, nephews, Michael Kenney, Paul Robert Kenney, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services: Feb. 14, 2022, with visitation preceding services. at Pittman Funeral Home, 545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, Missouri.
