US Representative Sam Graves visited Lewis County on May 3 to view the progress on two bridge replacement projects. Rep. Graves viewed the bridge on Route E near Derrahs that is next to be replaced. He also stopped another bridge on Route E that is currently under construction. The FARM (Fixing Access to Rural Missouri) Bridge Program will replace 31 rural bridges in northern Missouri funded through a $20.8 million grant from the Federal Highway Administration and $5.2 million from MoDOT.
