Celebrating 50 Years of Marriage

Don and Linda Hutcherson of LaGrange, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Saturday, June 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the LaGrange Lions Club in LaGrange, Mo. Friends and family are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

Mr. Hutcherson and the former Linda Gaus were married on May 20, 1972 at the Ten Mile Baptist Church of rural Canton, Mo. The ceremony was officiated by Earl Clayton Grandstaff.

Linda is the daughter of Leta Gaus and the late Homer Gaus of Lewistown, Mo. Linda is retired from teaching after 28 years with the Lewis County C-1 School District. Don is the son of the late Dorsey (Dutch) and Etta Mae Hutcherson of Lewistown. He is retired from over-the-road trucking with various companies, the last 40 years with Sharkey Transportation of Quincy, Ill. The couple both enjoy music shows, traveling and attending their grandchildren’s activities. They attend Ten Mile Baptist Church.

They are the parents of two children, Wade Hutcherson (deceased) and Kelli (Ken) Oliver of Canton, Mo. They have seven grandchildren, Kaden, Kenna and Kelsey Oliver of Canton, Mo., J.J. and Elaina Hutcherson of Quincy, Ill.; Kameron (Ashley) Stupavsky and Kayla Hutcherson of St. Louis, Mo.

They have one great grandson, Emmit Stupavsky.
