LaGrange and Lewistown Summer Reading Programs

May 25, 2022

The LaGrange and Lewistown Branch Libraries will be once again be joining libraries across the county to host a summer reading program.  These types of free programs help to encourage students to keep reading and to visit the library during the summer months when school may not be in session.  Children of all ages are welcome and the program begins May 25.

This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities”.  There will be reading goals in three categories:  Read to Me for younger children, Read for older children, and a 5 Book Challenge for the preteen/teens.  Each category will have prizes.  On Wednesdays in July there will also be story time and other activities for children to enjoy.

The LaGrange Branch Library is open Monday to Friday 10:00am to 5:00 and Saturdays 9:00am to Noon.  The Lewistown Branch Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to Noon.
