Yesteryear - Brush College

This was Brush College in 1904. Brush College was located about six miles south of LaBelle at Junction 156 and Route D.

Second row: Lewis Cissna, 2-5 unknown; Preston Carmen, 7 unknown, Bernice Johnston, Bertie Seeber, Cleo Poor and Nianna Hall. Third row: Carl Steffen, ? Speese,? Mann, Ella West, Edna Carmen, Lois Byers, Myrtle Messmer, Mami West and Mr. Poor, teacher.
The City of LaBelle will celebrate the 150 year sesquicentennial of the town on August 27.
