GWENDOLYN BROWN  

Gwendolyn Julia Dade Brown, 72, of Quincy, Ill., died December 7, 2022 at her home in Quincy.

She was born May 12, 1950 a daughter of Charles Edward and Mary Bea Dade Sr. Gwendolyn had 15 siblings.

She attended LaGrange C1 School. Gwendolyn loved playing Bingo, playing cards and going to the casino. She liked having holiday dinner and loved to cook.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Raye Brown Sr. and Gary Lee Brown; three granddaughters, Jasmin Brown, Jessica Brown and Mariah Brown and grandson Michael Brown; and a host of great grandkids; her siblings; Sherry Gay, Reva Holder, Cheryl Woodson, George Dade, Timothy Dade, Shelisha William, and Anthony William.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and nine sisters and brothers.
Graveside services and burial were held December 16, 2022 at Mark’s Cemetery in LaGrange, MO with Minister Dane Humphrey officiating.
The family suggests memorials be made to the family in care of Davis Funeral Home.
