GARY VAUGHN

Gary Eugene Vaughn, 75, of La Grange, Mo., died March 7, 2023 at the Lewis County Nursing Home at Canton, Mo.

He was born November 23, 1947 in Taylor, Mo., a son of Melvin Eugene and Mary Frances Pindell Vaughn. Gary was never married.

Gary was a member of the First Baptist Church in LaGrange. He enjoyed animals and riding his bicycle around town. He was also a collector of Bryer Horses and Cattle toy animals and liked to greet people with a wave when driving by on Route C. Wrestling and some of the older tv shows were some of his favorites.

Survivors include his sister, Paula (George Kramer) Vaughn and sister in law, Jeri Vaughn both of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Roger and Lester Vaughn.

Graveside services and burial were held March 10, 2023 at East Midway Cemetery near La Grange with Rev. Barry Pfister officiating.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Lewis County Nursing Home.
