Methodist Church Guest Speaker

Immanuel United Methodist Church in Canton is welcoming Max Marble at the 10:30 a.m. service on April 16. Rev. Marble will be sharing her experiences as a NOMAD. This is a group of committed persons who volunteer their time to travel around the country to provide repair and renovation work for local churches and agencies.

Max, a retired UMC pastor grew up in India, the son of missionaries. He and his late wife Sally served several United Methodist Churches in Missouri. Max also several as a mission interpreter for the conferences and jurisdiction mission teams, including organizing unique opportunities for lay and clergy to be in volunteer services. Rev. Dawn Gerard will lead the service which will highlight the presentation of word and video by Rev. Marble.

Anyone interested in Christian service, travel and new experiences is encourage to learn about this exciting possibility for vacation or retirement ministry. Everyone is welcome to attend.
