Bicycle Program Winners

A bicycle safety program was held at the August 12, 2023 Ewing Park Party. 

Sheriff David Parrish gave the program that included tips on safely riding a bike and the importance of having a properly fitting helmet.   The program was sponsored by Lewis County Farm Bureau Insurance, Jeff Whiston, agent. 

He provided a bike and a helmet that were part of the giveaways.  The Ewing Community Park provided two

additional helmets and Sheriff Parrish gave two soccer balls and presented stickers to all children present.  

Prior to the program, children registered with Linda Schmitz, a county Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Co-Chair.
