JAMES BRUMBAUGH

James W. Brumbaugh, 67 of Lewistown, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Country Aire Retirement Center at Lewistown.

The son of Harry and Doris Thrasher Brumbaugh was born on March 14, 1956 in rural Lewis County, Missouri. James liked to fish, coyote hunt and raise rabbits. He enjoyed listening and talking on his CB radio and listening to country music. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

He is survived by two sisters, Erma Geisendorfer of La Belle, Mo. and Roberta (Russell) Stice of Lewistown, Mo., sister-in-law, Wendeline Brumbaugh of Bethel, Mo. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Glen, Ersel, David, Kenneth and Melvin Brumbaugh.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Tony Stottlemyre officiating Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery in rural Lewistown.

Pallbearers: Randy Stice, Doug Geisendorfer, Brad Kaylor, Jason Brumbaugh, Joe Brumbaugh and Scott Jones. Honorary Pallbearers: Teresa Brumbaugh, Kenneth Geisendorfer and Tracy Brumbaugh.

Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery in rural Lewistown.
