RENICK ‘RICK’ ORR

Renick H. “Rick” Orr, 71 of Lewistown, Missouri died September 20, 2023 at his home in Lewistown.

The son of Warren and Wynona (Hayner) Orr and Henry Gibbons was born on May 8, 1952 at Quincy, Illinois.

He was united in marriage to Rose Howard on July 14, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Lewistown, Missouri.

Rick worked in auto body repair and was an avid Hot Rod and Tinduster enthusiast. He played in many bands, the last was Route 66 and liked country and old time rock and roll music. He also liked to go camping and visit with everyone at the Faststop. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Rose Orr of Lewistown, Mo.; his children, Heather (Brad) Sharpe of Lewistown, Mo., Sheila (Joe) Frye of Tulsa, Ok., Shain (Danielle) Morlang of Canton, Mo. and Shannon (Sandy Jane) Morlang of Canton, Mo.; grandchildren, Taylor (Cody) Johnson, Chevie Sharpe, Seth Sharpe, Cody (Harley) Orr, Kyle Orr, Chase (Madison) Orr, Katie Rosenthal, Corey Rosenthal, Aiden Morlang, Ambrosia Morlang, George Parmenter Davis, Amanda Morlang, Audralyn Morlang ang Tiger Morlang; great grandchildren, Liam Beaver, Nora Johnson and Karli Johnson; sisters, Ann Dietrich of Quincy, Ill., Kathy (Ed) Wiskirchen of Maywood, Mo., Gail (Karl) Wilkerson of Bend, Or., Brenda (Karl) Shade of Shenandoah, Ia., Charlotte (Tom) Davis of Mountain View, Mo., Sherry Coblecq of Bend, Or. and Karen Gallagher of Hamlet, N.C.; a brother, Danny (Susan) Gibbons of Hannibal, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were held September 25, 2023 at Arnold’s Funeral Home in Lewistown, Missouri with Rev. Tony Stottlemyre officiating. Visitation was held prior to services. Honorary Pallbearers: Ed Wiskerchen, Wes Sharpe, Lenny Brown, Benny Kaylor, Kenny Bugh, Kenny Penn, Kenny Hetzler and Randy Sharpe
