American FFA Degree

Lewis County C-1 FFA members Eli Putnam and Davon Jennings were awarded the American FFA Degree at the 96th National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana. The American FFA Degree, the highest achievement that an FFA member may be awarded, is a cumulation of several years of leadership development and growth of a Supervised Agricultural Experience.

Putnam, the son of Brad and Jill Putnam of Maywood served as Chapter Sentinel and conducted SAE projects in Entrepreneurship Beef Production and Placement at Ursa Farmers Coop. Jennings, the son of Bryan and Angie Jennings of Ewing served as Chapter President and Treasurer and conducted SAE projects in Entrepreneurship Lawn Care and Beef Production and Placement at Jennings Brothers Farm.
