Celebrating Sixty Years of Marriage

Mike and Charlotte (Johnson) Sommers of Canton, Mo., are celebrating 60 years of marriage. The couple were married December 8, 1963 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in LaGrange, Mo.

Charlotte is the daughter of the late Russell and Bessie (Bringer) Johnson. Mike is the son of the late Bayne and Mina (Winters) Sommers.

Mike and Charlotte are the parents of two children, Russell Sommers and his wife Pam, a daughter Robin and her husband Scott Glenn. They have three grandchildren Ashley, Dillon and Sydney. They have four great-grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Samantha, Grayson and Lucy.

The couple renewed their vows ten years ago at the Bluff Springs United Methodist Church. They enjoy traveling and being with family.
