DEBRA “DEBBIE” DECKER

Debra “Debbie” Lynn Decker, 65, of Ewing, Mo., died January 22, 2024, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.

Debbie was born on June 18, 1958, in Quincy, Ill., to Glenn and Mary Decker. After graduating Unity High School in 1976, she then continued her education at John Wood Community College, where she obtained an Accounting Degree. Through the years, Debbie was employed at Dura, Continental Castings, and Country Aire Retirement Estates. Most recently, she cared for loved ones.

Debbie loved spending time with family and friends. Some of her favorite things to do alongside them were camping, trail riding, line and square dancing, bargain hunting, and going to rodeos, horse sales, and the Quincy Raceways. Debbie attended other various activities of her

granddaughters, nieces, and nephews, being one of their biggest supporters. She served as theSecretary at the Tri County Buffalo Rangers Saddle Club, and was a member of Deer Ridge, and a vendor at the Colony Flea Market. Debbie attended church at FBC of Canton.

Survivors include her son Glenn (Beth) Decker, Lewistown, Mo., along with three granddaughters Hadlee, Henslee, and Hazelee; sister Glenda Ragar , Ewing, Mo., brother Rick (Jan) Decker, Loraine, Ill.,; favorite aunt Helen Smith, Golden, Ill.; close cousin Terry (Ruby) Hester, Mendon, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Mary Decker, nephew Monty Ray Decker, and special cousins Gena Smith Dewitt and Jonda Rhea.

Debbie’s Life Celebration was held January 27, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Canton, in Canton, Mo., with Pastor Brian Stone officiating.
