Canton Library Town Hall Meeting March 14

The Board of Trustees of the Canton Public Library has passed a Resolution to place a tax levy increase on the April 2 ballot. Passage of Proposition 1 will increase the Library tax by 22 cents per $100 assessed valuation as established by the County Assessor. This ballot measure applies only to property held within the city limits of Canton.

The Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Library will be hosting a Town Hall meeting for interested taxpayers on Thursday, March 14 at the Library at 6:00 PM to further discuss the needs of the Library and answer any questions about the ballot measure.
