LANE MILLER

Lane Heath Miller, of Keokuk, went missing from his home on Jan. 8, 2024. On March 4, 2024, his body was recovered from within a treeline in Alexandria, Missouri.
Miller was born Feb. 8, 1986, to Tamela (Miller) LaFoe and the late Gregory Lane Miller. Miller attended Keokuk High School and later earned a GED.
Lane possessed an infectious laugh and great wit. Anyone who knew him admired his depth of musical and general knowledge trivia. He was an avid reader, especially of quantum physics. He had recently become a first-time father to Olivia Lynn (3 months old). He often referred to her as his “purpose” and affectionately called her “Lovie” in honor of his beloved great-grandmother. He was recently baptized at Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk.
Surviving are daughter, Olivia (Brandy Jo Becker); mother Tamela LaFoe; brother Brandon (Astrid) Miller; stepmother Lori; half-brothers, Chad, Ryan, and Shawn; great-aunt Debby (Danny) Foust; grand-niece Serendipity Tompkins; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Lovie Rosenblatt; paternal grandparents JR and Shelby Miller; maternal grandmother Carolyn Joyce White; and his father Gregory Lane Miller.
A celebration of life was held at Calvary Foursquare, 2020 Palean, Keokuk, March 10, 2024. Rev. Adam Johnson officiated.
