Young Gardeners

The LaGrange Garden Club annually visit the preschool class at St. Peter’s Lutheran Early Childhood Learning Center in LaGrange. Club members show the children how to plant seeds and talk about how plants grow and discuss the plants from the garden they like to eat. The children enjoyed putting the seeds in the soil and watering the dirt. They also each planted a blooming petunia and were taught how the seeds begin to spout and then turn into a beautiful plant. County Market of Canton donated the plants and snacks.
