Columbia Memorial Stair Climb

Several members of the LaGrange Fire Department attended the 8th Annual Columbia Memorial Stair Climb on May 6. The event is to remember and honor all Public Servants who have died answering the call, especially those who perished during 9/11.

Attendees climbed the staircases in the Mizzou Football Arena, with a badge and lanyard of one of the 9/11 fallen.

After the Climb a tribute dinner followed with retired FDNY Lieutenant Joe Torrillo, as the motivational guest speaker. Torrillo is a 9/11 survivor.

Beneficiaries of the Memorial Stair Climb is 'Safety Net of Missouri' which provides benefits to the families of fallen Firefighters, Police Officers, EMS Providers, and Corrections

Officers; another beneficiary is the 'Firefighter Cancer Support Network'.
