NAOMI SCHUTTE

Naomi Ruth Schutte, 95, of Canton, Mo., died July 2, 2024, at her home in Canton, Mo.

A Graveside Service was held July 15, 2024, at the Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy. Fr. Bruce Scott will officiate. 

Naomi was born December 16, 1928, in Quincy, Ill., to Paul and Thelma (Morton) Stockdale. She was married to Roy Schutte in 1948, they just celebrated 75 years together. He survives.

Professionally, Naomi worked for the former shoe factory in Quincy, before becoming a homemaker and caring for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and tending to her garden.

Survivors include her son, Randy Schutte (Marianne); and her granddaughter, Robin Anne Lease, both of Quincy, Ill.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sonny Stockdale; and two sisters, Joanne Havner and Norma Parks.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
