Primary Election Results

Local results from the August 6, 2024 Primary election include. Northern Commissioner winner was Craig Redmon with 326 votes and Mark Dochterman with 150 votes. Assessor Tammy Logsdon, incumbent won over Glen Kern 897-362. LaBelle Township committeeman, Aaron Lay with 124 votes and Francis Richmond with 40 votes. Lyon Township committeeman: Kirby Clark 23 votes, and Dennis McCutchan had 15 votes. Canton Township committeeman John George 188 votes, Daniel Musholt 51 votes, and Wesley Lay had 36 votes. Southern Commissioner Travis Fleer was unopposed and had 726 votes. Greg Sharpe Unopposed for State Representative 1157 votes, US Representative District 6 Sam Graves had 1050 votes. Carson Lay, Surveyor, had 1122 votes. Luke Barton Public Administrator, unopposed with 1111 votes and Matt Wilson, Circuit Judge Circuit 2 had 1054 votes. On the Democratic ticket, Sheriff David Parrish was unopposed with 165 votes and Coroner Larry Arnold had 165 votes. Total Ballots were 1331 or 22.66 percent of registered voters.
