MOFB Announces 2024 Friends of Agriculture Recipients

September 04, 2024

Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) has awarded its 2024 Friends of Agriculture award to 87 members of the Missouri House of Representatives. Greg Sharpe from Lewis County has been named on the list of this year’s Friend of Agriculture award. The award has been given to Missouri state representatives every two years since 1996.
In order to receive the award, legislators must be nominated by their county Farm Bureau board and have a supportive voting record over the previous two legislative sessions. This combination ensures that Friend of Agriculture award winners are proven leaders who support MOFB members both at home and in Jefferson City.
“The highest honor that our organization bestows on Missouri House of Representatives members is the Friend of Agriculture award,” said MOFB President Garrett Hawkins. “Our county leaders work hand-in-hand with these public servants to ensure that Missourians from every corner of the state have their interests represented in the Capitol each spring.”
Missouri Farm Bureau is the state's largest farm organization with a presence in every county throughout the state. Learn more on our website or follow @MissouriFarmBureau on Facebook, @MOFarmBureau on Twitter/X or @MOFarmBureau on Instagram.
