Kim and Monica were married in Lewistown, Mo., September 1974, in a ceremony performed by Rev. John Castle from Mt. Pleasant Baptist, Steffenville, Mo. Maid of honor was Shelley (Buswell) Moeller, sister of the bride. Best man was Thomas Fleer, brother of the groom. Junior attendants were Darrin and Jarrod Buswell, brothers of the bride, Ronda Walter, cousin of the bride. Music was performed by Bev Ritter, a friend of the couple. All the dresses were designed and sewn by Frankie Irene Walter, aunt of the bride.
Kim retired after 35 years at Hollister-Whitney Elevator (Quincy) and Monica 23 years at Lewis County C-1 (Ewing). They spend retirement enjoying good health, spending time with family, working on the ranch, volunteering in the community, reading, supporting the arts, and serving their church. They especially enjoy traveling on trips planned with their children and grandchildren. The couple appreciates their four children, daughters-in-law, 13 grandchildren and dear friends that created a beautiful celebration and all those that attended.
