Celebrating Golden Anniversary

Wayne E. and Mary M. Feldkamp will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary on Nov 27, 2024. 
They were married at St Peter’s Lutheran Church of LaGrange, Mo., on Nov 27, 1974. 
Mary is the daughter of the late Virgil L and Maxine Goodwin. Wayne is the son of the late Carl W and Dorothy L (Ludwig) Feldkamp of LaGrange, Mo. Wayne was an owner-operator long-haul trucker for 20+ years, as well as a cattle and quarter-horse breeder of many years until health concerns forced him to retire.  Mary was a school teacher in science and special education programs for 48 years until her retirement this spring. 
Wayne is a member of St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Mary is a member of St James’ Lutheran in Quincy, IL
Both were involved in Pony of the Americas and 4-H for many years. Mary does a great deal of small-animal rescue and fostering in the community. 
The couple has one son, C.L. Feldkamp of LaGrange, who with his wife Ashley welcomed their first child (the couple’s first grandson) Bryan Wayne Feldkamp, earlier this year.  Wayne lost his son from his first marriage, Bryan Hall Feldkamp, in 1994, and the couple claims his wife, Loretta Feldkamp, as daughter-in-law, along with their granddaughter, Ruth E. Feldkamp, of Columbia, Mo.
