Highland Basketball Tournament

The annual Highland Basketball tournament will begin on January 6 with the championship games played Saturday, Jan. 11. Both Highland and Canton girl’s and boy’s teams will play in the annual tournament
Highland girls are seeded second and will play Jan. 6 against number 7 seed Clark County. Game time is 5 p.m.  The Canton girls, seeded fourth, will also play on Monday night against the number 5 seed Kirksville, game begins at 6:30 p.m. Palmyra girls are seeded first. Keokuk is seeded third and Macon girls are seeded sixth.
Boys games begin on Tuesday evening, Jan. 7. Palmyra boys have the number one seed, Kirksville is second seed and Keokuk is the third seed. Canton boys, seeded fourth will take on the fifth seed, Clark County at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 7. Highland boys seeded seventh will face Kirksville at 5 p.m. on Jan. 7.
The championship games will be played on Saturday, Jan 11 with the girl’s teams playing at 3 p.m. and the boys championship game is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. The girls third place game will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. and the boys third place game will follow at 9 p.m. Consolation games will be played at Friday, January 10 with the girls game to begin at 4:40 p.m. and the boys play at 6 p.m.
