Tax Preparation Assistance

Canton Public Library, located at 403 Lewis Street in Canton, Missouri, will serve as a VITA Tax Assistance site. Appointments are highly encouraged, but attempts will be made to accommodate drop-ins.
The IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free basic tax return preparation to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including people who generally make $67,000 or less, elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and limited English-speaking taxpayers.
Certified volunteers will be available Saturday, April 5 from 2:00-5:00. Call 573-288-5279 for an appointment.
