Highland FBLA Attends State Leadership Conference

Missouri Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) welcomed 5,000+ attendees from nearly 400 chapters to the record-breaking State Leadership Conference to celebrate our 66th year as an organization. Members and advisers gathered in person to expand their leadership knowledge, compete in various events, and connect with others from across the state.
Eighteen Highland FBLA members attended the State Leadership Conference in Springfield April 13-15. Members attended leadership academies, community service sessions, and competed against students across the state. Kennedy Post advanced to the national level of competition, placing 4th in Computer Applications. Ellie Goehl will also attend nationals, competing for competitive review for her Capstone Business Achievement Award. Several members were also recognized for Community Service Awards including: Alainah Hoffman (200 Hours), Kennedy Post (200 Hours), Cali Berhorst (50 Hours), Ellie Goehl (50 Hours), and Manda Jennings (50 Hours). To top off the conference Highland FBLA became the Goosechase Champions! 
Members represented Highland well and enjoyed their time at the conference working to build their community-minded business leader skills by representing the FBLA Values of Service, Education, and Progress.
