Hawkins Retires

Selena Jane Hawkins has retired from the Postal Service. She has been employed by the Postal Service for 36 years, with 12 years at the Monticello Post Office. Her last day was April 30, She said her first day of retirement was a beautiful day. She became a professional weed puller. Her two cats love her being home and her husband is finding things he forgot to do. They were planning a May Day, May Day knock and run when the grandchildren got home. She and her husband live in Kahoka and plan to spend time with their grandchildren, family and fun adventures. During her career with the Post Office, she served as Postmaster Relief, Postmaster, and Associate Clerk.
